Mission Statement

The Mission of the Acushnet Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in our Town by working in partnership with the community.  We pledge to provide a well-trained professional police department to the residents of Acushnet and to ensure a safe environment for all citizens, with a special emphasis on youth and elderly concerns.

We are committed to the prevention and suppression of criminal activity through improved identification, apprehension and prosecution of offenders and the elimination or reduction of opportunities to commit crime.
